Twist
For the past week, my armpits have smelled like maple syrup.

The woman verifies this 100%.

Right now, that's fuckin' awesome. But I know that I'll never be able to eat pancakes again because from now on they're going to smell like my armpits.

This is a very important question.

Like real maple syrup, or like "maple-flavored" syrup like Aunt Jemima's?

I don't eat enough maple syrup to know the difference. I'll ask the next person who smells my pits.

She says it smells like the real stuff. Now, I should qualify that we both grew up on Aunt Jemima, but she insists that it smells thicker and fuller than that.

That's unfortunate. If it smelled like the fake stuff, you could at least still enjoy the real stuff (which is scads better than Aunt Jemima).

What's most unfortunate though is that you grew up on fake stuff :( Ohio has maple trees--why would you prefer artificial flavoring!?
